October 7 2008 - Congratulations to Ring of Fire and Truckstop for securing their bids to Regionals. And thanks to all the teams for competing. Full results can be found at the UPA site.

October 2 2008 - Regionals is just a couple of days away!

Format Info (which has been sent out to captains):
- games to 15, point cap at 17.
- 2 timeouts per half
- 2 point soft cap at 1:30
- hard cap at 2:00
- captain's meeting is at 8:30 AM (make sure to bring outstanding dues and waivers)

October 1 2008 - Queen City Thunder has accepted the last bid out of NC - so the field is set. With 16 teams and 2 bids, we'll be using the standard double elimination format. Seeds and schedule should be confirmed by Thursday AM, at the latest.

September 29 2008 - Using back-up fields (Upperville Polo) Capital managed to go on despite the threatening weather. Currently the UPA site is down but the Regionals qualifiers are: 1) Truckstop 2) Wiretap 3) Medicine Men 4) Floodwall 5) Eastern Motors. The sixth bid shifted to the NC section due to a number of teams dropping.

September 24 2008 - The Founders section declines 2 of their bids - sending an extra bid each to the NC Section and the Capital Section. The NC team will be Cannibal Marshmallow (6th place finisher) and the Capital bid will be awarded to the 6th place finisher this weekend.

September 23 2008 - Any Founders team wishing to accept one of the last two spots from the section to attend MA Open Regionals should contact your SC Glenn Poole by 9AM on 9/24/08.

September 22 2008 - North Carolina sectionals are over, with Ring of Fire capturing the top spot. Los, X-Rates, Boneyard, and Wilmington round out the top five.

September 19 2008 - MA Regionals website goes live.

September 15 2008 - Capital Sectionals postponed until Sept. 27-28. Founders Sectionals Div I and Div II are completed with Forge capturing the championship. Along with Forge - Pike, OLD SAG, Roots of Rhythm, Pittsburgh Burgh, Bear Proof, and Philly Love have earned bids to Regionals.
